All active members of the ATA are entitled to one no-charge annual membership in the specialist council of their choice. On August 31, 2010 memberships obtained through this program will expire. Act now to renew your membership for the 2010/11 school year.
2010/11 memberships are only available for those members who selected a membership for 2009/10. If you choose to join a coucil for the first time, you will have to renew after
September 1, 2010 for the 2010/11 school year.
Follow these steps to renew your membership:
- Access the Provincial ATA site www.teachers.ab.ca or a local ATA Website (if available)
- Select the login link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (in the blue bar).
- Enter your TNET login (username@teachers.ab.ca). If you do not have a TNET login, you may request an account from the login page.
- Once you have logged in to TNET, review your choices from the menu that will appear under Access Your Sites at the top of your screen.
- From the Tools option, select the Specialist Council Membership link.
- Click on Click here to get a membership in a specialist council.
